I remember there was an English version as well and I've heard about Japan being one of the countries that were hooked to the song.

I remember singer called Haiducci or something like that. She covered Dragostea, but I didnt like it.

I remember Haiducii, she was not as good as O-Zone's version but I still liked it though and I still have the German CD single of the song I bought in Germany in 2004 when the song was still out.

Oh, Dragostea Din Tei is great! I still love this song
